NONNA ARMIDA’S PRODUCTS COMING SOON
I was very proud to meet real passionate Italian producers.
And I am very happy to sell their products on the new upcoming Nonna Armida shop!
The first place I visited is Frantoio Cornoleda, in the beautiful and unspoiled area of Colli Euganei in the northern Veneto region.
The two owners are a beautiful couple, Devis and Jaci, and they opened their frantoio (olive mill) following a real passion for the process of making olive oil. They proudly showed to me all their prizes they won since their opening in 2008.
In Milan I selected the best panettone I have ever eaten!
Giovanni Manzoni starts making panettone in October, earlier then usual, just because his panettoni are in such high demand.
I love reading the label of his panettone as it is like homemade, with fresh ingredients. That’s why he suggests that you slightly warm your panettone up before eating: it is made with fresh butter and it softens up when a bit warmer.
For this Christmas I chose to have the classic version, with uvette and canditi (raisins and candied fruit), the only raisins version and the chocolate one.
More info next week…!
