This is a very good appetizer, so good you risk your guests will eat too much of it leaving no space for the food to come (many foods on Christmas day)!
The carrots, zucchini and potatoes have to be cut in little cubes. If you have never done it I have realized some photos that will help you with the cutting technic to be fast and precise.

The number of Christmas menus that are traditional in Italy are as many as the number of Italian families.
